I wish there was a way to be able to add effects to the recorded track without them affecting the background track. I tried to add a bit of echo to the completed track but it didn't sound right when I played it back. Is there a way to separate the voice/instrument track from the rest? Love the programme...

Hi, The same thing happened to me. I get the same message. If , when the sofware shows you the screen to pick a song"type", ( NEW SONG STARTER-SELECT STARTING POINT ) you cancel that...and just go to the bar across the bottom to make your selections. style chords per bar add/remove bar at start...
