  • Unable to Install Songsmith to Laptop ( with Vista 32 bit) .Net3.5

    I am unable to install Songsmith. Please help. I have an HP Vista Premium (32 bits) with .net 3.5 service Pack 1 installed on my machine. Songsmith installation goes to the very last step except just before “finish” is expected to come up, I get an error message and the program undo the installation...

  • Microphone's gain slider doesn't moove

    I tried fixing mike's gain but the slider doesnt function. As a result of a very low gain the recording failed and songsmith didnt get the right chords. Please help! Thanks

  • Static hiss in exported WAV and WMA files

    When I export a song, there is only a loud static hiss where the voice portion of the song should be. The instrumental intro and exit is fine. Does anyone no how to correct this? I am using XP on an IBM Thinkpad.

  • protected memory?

    When I try to start SongSmith, I get the following error message: Audio initialization failed (reason: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt). This error prevents Songsmith from running. How can I troubleshoot this?

  • Songsmith is a disappointment

    It doesn't do anything except play a corny MIDI track and detect when you stopped singing so it can add on a little boo bop ba boo to the end. I sang, I made screechy cat noises, banged my microphone against the desk, and the same boop bee boo upbeat MIDI track keeps playing, it doesn't care...
