1) I've been working with Songsmith successfully (and with much pleasure) off and on for several months, but tonight for some reason I'm not able to open it. I continually get the message that "Songsmith has encouraged a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." I've sent the error report.

Can anyone at this stage shed light on the possible problem?

F2) Will it be possible to upgrade free of charge to the newer version of Songsmith?

Just to follow up: I rebooted the computer, hoping that might solve the problem. Unfortunately, it didn't.

Telescope doesn't work

After downloading ASCOM and noting that the "installed" notice appeared, I tried to check if telescope worked by clicking on the "Choose" button

The following message was sent instead of the selection images that WWT says should be gotten

"Error ' - 2147220416 (80040440)' execution time Failed to open / create root registry key (5)"

Apheilon Beta version used for WWT

Windows Vista Home Premium

Internet Explorer 8

Will Not Install

When i download the application (it says it is only 400kb so i dont think it downloads completely) i will open the installer and it gives me this message "This installation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package." Is there any fix for this issue cause i had the program before and it worked fine on this laptop and now i am having these issues. Thanks for any help you can give me.

I'm having the same problem. Running XP SP3 on a MacBook wih 2 gigs RAM, if that helps. Nothing else has ever told me I have corrupted memory.

When I try to start SongSmith, I get the following error message:

Audio initialization failed (reason: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt).

This error prevents Songsmith from running.

How can I troubleshoot this?
