Thanks Peter, sorry for the grumpy post ! --- spent a good hour downloading stuff to try to make it work to no avail. Well, I can do directx 9 on that card, so I'm not sure what the problem is - unless it has to be fully dx9 compliant. ( If full compliance with dx9 is a requirement, I didn't see that in any of the install related info I found, nor in posts here ... or it's buried. ) Might be good to let folks know this in the "windows system requirements" link under the install
