You can modify the XML file that stores all the instruments (camera & telescopes) and it will show up. The file is instruments.xml On XP it is located at C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\WorldWideTelescope\data On Vista it is located at C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WorldWideTelescope\data The format of the XML is somewhat self explanatory (if you are familiar with XML files). There is a known issue where the web site will not launch a tour or search if you are using FireFox or Safari. Solution: To See a Tour, open WorldWideTelescope and go to Guided Tours tab and you will see a list of tours that you can run in the application.

Symptoms: When installing WWT, a different program attempts to install. Cause: WWT extracts the Setup.exe file to your temp directory and runs it there. If there is another setup exe in that temp directory then that setup file is executed. Resolution(s): There are two possible resolutions for this issue. Delete the contents of your Temp directory.
