Hi, I just recently downloaded auto collage 2008 trial version, and I'm having an issue w/ the collage after i press create.  First I loaded some pictures from a trip then I press create just to see what this program was all about.  After I waited for the process to finish, and when it did it was just a black (blank) screen.  I tried restarting my computer several times but problem still exist.

Hi lamike24,

This may be related to a graphics driver issue. I would recommend you check that you are running the latest driver from your graphics card's manufacturer and then try again. Please do contact us at acfeed@microsoft.com if you have further issues.

Thanks,
Chris.

Hi Johnny892,

This problem is usually related to the driver for your graphics card. I would recommend contacting the manufacturer site for your card and downloading the latest Windows 7 installer.

Please contact us on acfeed@microsoft.com if you have any further issues.

Thanks,
The AutoCollage Support Team

Nope that`s not the answer, all my drivers are up to date including graphics.

I`ve been on the ATI website and downloaded the latest driver, but the problem still occurs Sad

Could you try to create a collage using the sample images in Windows and see if this completes? If so, it may be related to the issue on our blog with images where the date stamp is corrupted:

For some reason autocollage does not recognise the windows sample pictures folder, plus the pictures I`m using are all dated from beginning of last month. Tongue Tied

It`s okay autocollage now recognises the folder, but after clicking create, I have the same problem, black screen.

Well I`ve tried everything, uninstalling, removing all traces of it from the registry then reinstalling it. But the same problem arises.

Everything else runs okay with my graphics etc......

I`ve double checked all my drivers are up to date but, no good.

It`s a shame, because I`ve made some really nice collages for family and friends.

At last it works Big Smile

What I did was..............................

Uninstalled my Autocollage, checked the registry for any leftovers, then downloaded the 30-day-trial Collage, entered my licence key and hey-presto it works.
