Hello,

I am looking for an intern position in summer 2009. I am a PhD candidate in Computer Science department at University of Nevada, Reno.
My online resume: http://www.bilalgonen.com/resume/

  • www.ClubOnNet.com; A database driven website.
    I developed this project completely by myself. In this project, members can create their own club on the website. They can create photo albums and upload pictures to the album. Members can also join clubs on the website. Club owner may accept or reject the membership request. In each club. there is a forum where the members of the club can communicate.
    Technologies used in this project;
    • Web programming (ASP.NET 3.5, LINQ-to-SQL, Membership with multiple roles)
    • Database; I designed the database myself in SQL Server 2005
    Note: You can also check the other two websites I developed in Turkish: www.dukkanrehberi.com (For companies, similar to yellow pages), www.kulubum.com (For clubs, the same idea for clubOnNet).
  • Semantic Browser (The project for my master thesis)
    Semantic Browser is a tool that enables the users to traverse among the semantically connected documents easily. The documents are connected by using the relationships, such as "causes", "adjacent to", "produces"...etc. Implemented by using HTML, DHTML, Ant & Tomcat, AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript And XML), JSP (Java Server Page), Java Script, XMLDOM, DHTML, Ontology in RDF format, Lucene indexing (Pure Java code), Eclipse WTP (All-In-One) for Java coding.
