Figured there should be a formal thread on this specific problem. If you have a Radeon 9XXX card (possibly just 92XX and lower) and you can't see anything but constellation lines, this is normal.
I'm having this problem on a Dell Latitude D600 with a Mobility Radeon 9000.
Any word on a fix?
