&lt;p&gt;i solved this problem by&amp;nbsp; myself&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;i uninstalled my videocard drivers and updated drivers through windows update&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;now WWT is working &lt;img src="http://community.research.microsoft.com/emoticons/emotion-2.gif" alt="Big Smile" /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;and through dxdiag i am also able to get direct3d test running&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I have the same probleme with my toshiba laptop.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I use windows Xp sp3&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;the videocard is ATI mobility Radeon 7000 igp&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;direct x 9c and framework 2 are installed correctly&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;so i think this videocard is not compatible&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I went to the post : &lt;a href="http://community.research.microsoft.com/forums/t/1095.aspx"&gt;http://community.research.microsoft.com/forums/t/1095.aspx&lt;/a&gt; and re installed both programs and re installed WWT&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;and having re started the computer, the same message appears on the screen when I launch WWT.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;What else can I do?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I have an XPS 400 computer&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;running Windows XP&lt;/p&gt;
