Image Composite Editor is an advanced panoramic image stitcher. You shoot a set of overlapping photographs of a scene from a single location, and Image Composite Editor creates a high-resolution panorama incorporating all your images at full resolution.

Re: Unable to stitch...

The issue wasn't LZW vs. uncompressed, it was that there were some metadata tags that we don't typically see and were being a bit too picky about opening the file. We can fix that, but it sounds like you're now seeing a new issue :(

Re: Unable to stitch...

Hmm, they were uncompressed. I re-saved with LZW compression andICE grinds on them for 30 seconds or so and then gives the same error.

Re: Unable to stitch...

MSPaint opens the files just fine.

Here is one of the images:

http://www.squeamishossifrage.com/pics/92120663.zip

What kind of TIFF file does ICE understand? Unspecified error (0x80004005)

These are TIFF images approximately 70MB each. I tried it with two smaller (60MB) TIFF images and got the same result.

This error appears almost immediately after I add the images, it doesn't seem to have time to examine any of the images for content.

Thanks for the help.
