As a result of some misconfiguration, some software components may not be properly updated in a few machines. Would you confirm that you can go to the site http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ and that site is able to properly detect and offer updates to your system? You don't need to perform any given update (although that is certainly good, mainly for critical ones) but just to verify if the components to detect the need for updates are "up-to-date" (I know this may sound ironic).
If you still face problems after visiting http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ then please contact our support team at acfeed@microsoft.com with information about your machine configuration and operating system, and we will try to help you to resolve this issue.
Another issue that we became aware of recently is that some unauthorized sites are making AutoCollage available, for free or for a fee. Please make sure that you only download AutoCollage from the official site. The setup file for v1.0, named MicrosoftAutoCollageSetup.msi, has 7,171,072 bytes, and the file should have a digital signature from Microsoft Corporation, with a Timestamp of July 16, 2008 (you should be able to verify the time stamp opening the file properties dialog and looking at the “Digital Signatures” tab).
This is an interesting discussion.. thank you for sharing.
