I purchased Autocollage and have been using It. Very useful and easy to use. It would be nice to be able to select a photo to be in the center position in the collage. I accomplished it by redoing the collage until the one I wanted ended in the middle. Any plans to at least select one photo to take center place.
Also the HELP contents indicate up to 300 photos can be in the browser folder. I tried one that had 34 photos but only 24 were put in the collage. At least the slider bar said 24.
The preview pane never shows the whole collage. You have to use the scroll bars to move around. The next Zoom value is 50% which is too small to really evaulate the collage. 80 or 90% would be more usable. I can view the whole colage by saving it and then opening it another photo editing program.
Thanks

Hi Bob,
In the topic about "Selecting Images to Browse" there is this statement: "Conversely, some folders may have more images than AutoCollage can load. If such a folder is selected (usually with [300+] listed as the number of images in the folder), AutoCollage 2008 will only load the first 300 images from that folder." What this means is that even if you have a folder with 500 images, AutoCollage will only load and consider the first 300 images (a technicality: in the order of "directory entries", as returned by the operating system). However, only 7 to 25 images can be in an AutoCollage for release 1.0.
The preview pane keeps the previous settings for session, but restores to 100% afterwards. If the resulting AutoCollage is being shown in a big size, it may be needed to change your screen resolution (instructions for Windows Vista and for Windows XP).
Thanks.
