I downloaded this programme which I must say is a must, however after using the trial decided to purchase, I went through the procedure and after completing it went to the comfirmation and I received just a blank page. I have not received e-mail with the registration code so have been left in limbo not knowing wheher all is good or whether I have lost my money. ??

When you purchase AutoCollage, a product key is created and deposited in your digital locker (Windows Marketplace) or your Account information (Online Microsoft Store), depending upon whether you purchased in the US or the EU respectively.
For US purchase, you can look up your product key by going to http://windowsmarketplace.com and clicking on 'Your Digital Locker' at the top of the page. Sign in if prompted, and then you will see a 'your software' page which should let you view your License (product key) for autoCollage.
For EU purchase, visit the online Microsoft Store and click on the 'Account' link at the top of the page. This should show your AutoCollage product key.
Once you have your product key, you can register by following the instructions at http://research.microsoft.com/autocollage/Help/BuyingAutoCollage.htm, cut-and pasted below.

Thanks for your prompt reply however I have tried what you suggest and because it didnt show on the store account I presumed that it didnt take my money so have tried again and it has done just the same again ending with a blank confirmation page and not going any further, so I now dont know whether it has taken monies twice ??
I'm sorry we still haven't resolved the issue you're experiencing purchasing AutoCollage.
If you have online access to your credit card statement, you can review it and look for a charge from “Microsoft Store / arvato” to see if the online Microsoft Store has checked it.
PS - if your problem is with Windows Marketplace rather than the online Microsoft Store, please let me know and I'll post contact details for their tech support as well.
