I have been searching for a long time for the result that AutoCollage delivers, here are some general comments about my findings as a user and suggestions for future releases based on my own user experience
Although the functionality is limited to the core AutoCollage function and no other variations, it is the collage effect I was looking for. It would be brilliant if the program could support more pictures than 25 but, I gather this is a balance of performance and stability during the early stages. Lets hope that this limitation can be overcome in the future.
With the manual face detection, there could be more related functionality such as resizing and repositioning the blocks
A click and drag function to re order the auto collage layout would be useful. Clicking 'create' delivers a different result every time so, a little more control over this and the possibility to move / off center an image would be great. For instance I generated a collage which was perfect except for the fact that there was a Giraffe in the collage that could have been better positioned.
All in all though, I am quite happy with the results and am likely to buy the licensed version
