Whenever I load WWT, it automatically starts zooming in on the spot it's on. I tried seeing if my mouse button is sticking and its not that. I don't know why it's doing this. Could someone please help.
I have the same problem and more -- WWT is completely unusable for me. It zooms uncontrollably even when I un-check the "Zoom on Mouse" option, and once fully zoomed there is a constant CW/CCW rotating jitter. The jitter stops if I right-click to bring up the "Finder Scope" and keep my mouse over that frame or if another application has focus. The jitter isn't a simple graphics rendering error because the RA/Dec/Alt/Az coordinates reflect the constantly-changing position. On top of that, all of the graphics (except the UI) are drawn as wireframes only so I can't see anything in detail.
I'm running WinXP 32bit w/ 4gb RAM (3.5) and a GeForce 8800GTX w/ the latest drivers. My mouse is a Logitech G7 cordless.
Same problem (although the graphics render correctly). If you hold down the "-" key, it zooms out, but as soon as you let go, it goes straight back.
Vista Home Premium (SP1), 4Gb RAM, 2x8800GT SLI, Dell optical mouse (corded!)

Check to see if you have a joystick, mix-deck, foot pedels, etc... pluged into your compter. Unplug when running WWT should do the trick.
