Not Connecting to the Internet, Proxy issues, Offline Mode?

I've just got around to trying the latest fix and it doesn't work for me. The proxymatron fix (or rather, workaround) did work, but that's not something I could apply across an entire school. I would dearly love to use this in class.

You only need to install Promoxitron on one machine (yours?). Every student machine you only need to point to this one proxy machine...

i don't have a proxy server i use reliance broadband on my notebook i get the same message every one else is having problem with the only difference is that i don't have any proxy what should i do.

i am working from home don't have any proxy connection still am getting the same message what should i do ive tried everything u've given till now.

I have read all this thread, and being a non technophobe iam at a complete loss.

I have been running WWT for a long time, up until I downloaded the latest update last week. Now I have this Proxy issue.

I am running XP Home on a direct line from my servers modem, no proxy.

Can anyone help please, otherwise I shall have to forget a very good program that I have enjoyed viewing
