How to use posterior for testing in the LDA model

I want to test the lda model on new documents, I take the method on the baysian point machine example:

setting the phi in the test model to the posterior phi from the training model. However, I always get errors indicating violation of type constrain. Can anyone give me some help on this ? It seems SharedVariable is another kind of solution, but I cannot get it right either.

360 panoramas

The editor does a great job of stiching but doesn't crop the left and right edges to create a true 360 panorama. Is there anyway to do this so the image can be used to display a cylindrical panorama

Can't register AutoCollage

I have installed Win 7 64 Bit. I have installed AutoCollage - new version. It seems to run fine. However, when I try to register the prduct, I get the following in a dialogue box after I enter the product key. "Your account does not have permission to register this product. Execute the application using an account with administration permissions and reenter the product key."

I am the only user on this computer and rest assured, my user is administrative. FYI, I installed it with Win 7 32 bit and had no such issues.

Purchasing full version outside US and EU?

Instruments not matching vocal key

Hey everyone... I have been playing around with the Songsmith trial version and have not had any luck with the software matching my singing. I am a semi-professional singer with over 15 years of experience. The software is not even close to the right key on anything I have tried. I have tried humming and singing but no luck. I am getting plenty of mic power to the software but during playback it sounds horrid.

I have a decent PC running XP. There seems to be a slight latency issue also and moving the slider does not seem to do much.

Any ideas?

then a "transform chain" window shows information "can only indexed by loop variables,not index0",it seems the position where the error occurs is near(in) "two using nest" of source code

By the way,can jagged array provide a array of a array,where the length of last array is not fixed,so I can remove the limit that each docoment is composed of 2 words.

copying and pasting .wtt files

I created a slide tour and saved it to my desk top. I would like to incorporate this tour into another slide show I am creating using a separate slide show / movie making software.

My problem is I cannot copy and paste my saved tour (as a .wtt file) from my desk top into my separate slide show software.

Does anyone have a suggestion?

A Question about "ConstrainEqualRandom"

Hi,

I am new to Infer.net, and I am trying to play with it.
As documented, there is a great way to attach constraint between
random variables using "ConstrainEqualRandom"...I made
a simple test showing below, but I cannot explain why Infer.net
gives me that result...

Could anyone explain how Infer.net generates such result? or I
used this function in a wrong way?..

What I want to test is suppose I have a prio distribution on A, and B.
I also know C = A & B... My intuition is if I have some constraint on
C, can I infer something about A,B,and C...

when I change Variable.ConstrainEqualRandom<bool, Bernoulli>(PC, new Bernoulli(0.6));

Infer.net will give me different result as well.

Unable to update / uninstall older version

Trying to update from 2.2.32.1 to 2.5.22.1 - getting message that it's trying to find the installation package "wwtsetup.msi" - ("The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unvailable.") I'm assuming of the old version? Doesn't work with the new one I just downloaded, and no other versions exist on my computer.

Get the same when if I go "manually" through Start/Add or Remove Programs. "The older version can not be removed." - Huh?

I've never had this problem with any program - all I want to do is update! Help?

Win XP home, sp3; full admin rights, etc.

"moving" horizont

Hi,

I achieved to create a lot of impressing panoramas using ICE.

There just one detail that I miss: a way to straiten the horizont in cases that I merge a couple of images. In this case often the horizont is a long "wave".

The ideal solution would be to extend the projection / curvature tool not only to apply moves and turns but also "waves" for suppression of the described problem.

Does anyone knows about a data set useful for Gaussian Mixture Modeling

ICE Melting

Hi:

I've used ICE for quite a while now.

Today, for the first time, ICE failed, with this error message:

Microsoft ICE was unable to Stich together any of the given source images

Unspecified error (0x 80004005)

What has changed? I have moved from Window 7 64-bit RC to the production version.

To be clear, I used three photos that have plenty of overlap. First, I dragged and dropped them from ACDSee Pro3; then I used file/new/open within ICE. The photos are all JPG.

Panorama Maker was able to use these files and create a pano without error.

Multi-Monitor Cluster Setup

Hi,

on the WWT website, the feature list of the Windows client says that WWT supports "Multi-monitor cluster rendering". I assume that this means that I can render on a large tiled display. I further assume that the "Master Controller" menu entry in Settings > Advanced is somehow related with this as this starts some kind of TCP server. However, I did not manage to find out how the client setup would work. Do you have any hints for me or is there a manual for that feature? Furthermore, can I use this feature to do passive stereo rendering? It would be great if anyone could help me with some setup information for that.

How do I get a straight horizon?

I like to shoot the occasional panorama but usually the mood strikes me when the tripod is at home so I shoot handheld. With 2 or 3 pic panoramas that tend to go well but when I use more shots I always end up with a slight curve to my horizons.

Any tips on how to correct this or to prevent this? (Apart from forking out several hunderd euros for a pano head)
